Session Leader

The Session Leader serves as the emcee for each weekly gathering, welcoming participants, providing an overview of the session, and ensuring the evening runs smoothly. This person is responsible for keeping the schedule on track and making sure each session begins and ends on time.

The Session Leader is also the primary point of contact for Small Group Facilitators and leads the pre- and post-session huddles. Because this role serves as the focal point for each gathering, the ideal Session Leader is organized, warm, engaging, personable, and comfortable speaking in front of a group.

Small Group Facilitators

Small Group Facilitators guide conversation and encourage balanced participation among group members. They pray for, accompany, support, and serve those entrusted to their care throughout the series.

The ideal facilitator is a companion on the journey—prayerful, attentive to the Holy Spirit, joyful, relational, and committed to helping others encounter Jesus. A heart for mission and genuine care for people are essential qualities for this role.

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team creates an atmosphere of welcome, beauty, and belonging. First impressions matter, and a warm, inviting environment helps participants feel seen, valued, and loved from the moment they arrive.

Team members may serve in a variety of ways, including greeting guests, serving meals, decorating the space, and helping create an environment that is both comfortable and inspiring. The ideal Hospitality Team member is creative, energetic, welcoming, and enjoys serving others.

Food Team

The Food Team oversees how meals and refreshments are offered during The Rescue Project. Food is often the ultimate icebreaker, creating opportunities for conversation, connection, and community.

Meals may be catered, prepared on-site, served buffet-style, or shared at tables. Team members are encouraged to be creative in providing meals that are both memorable and affordable. The ideal Food Team member appreciates the importance of hospitality and enjoys serving others through the gift of a shared meal.

Intercessory Prayer Team

The Intercessory Prayer Team provides the spiritual foundation for The Rescue Project by praying for everyone involved, including participants, leaders, volunteers, and planners.

Team members receive a list of those participating and commit to praying for them by name throughout the duration of the series. The ideal person for this ministry has a heart for prayer and a desire to support the work of evangelization through faithful intercession.
